My career path

Curious about everything, I studied science while also loving foreign languages and wanting to discover the world. So I had an immersive experience during a year of study in Spain, which allowed me to learn Spanish and discover the joys but also the challenges of learning a language through immersion.

It was later in my professional life that I realised I loved teaching. So I combined this passion with my love of languages and my curiosity about the world, and I started teaching French as a foreign language. At the same time, I had my first teaching experiences and prepared a university diploma and then a Master’s degree in French as a foreign language. This enabled me to give private lessons, in small or large groups, in French as a foreign language, French as a second language and literacy.

The Master’s degree in FLE enabled me to better structure my course programmes and to be trained in the Verbo-Tonal Method, which is a real help for pronunciation and French for Specific Purposes. As every learner is important to me, I wrote my dissertation on managing heterogeneity in FLE classes.
